The most powerful jungle cat in the Americas, and the living symbol of the gods for the Mayans, the jaguar has long been considered impossible to film in the wild. It is nocturnal, extremely rare, and so well camouflaged that you could live alongside it for a lifetime and see only a few paw prints. In the tropical rainforests of Belize, where jaguars are protected, a team of experts pooled their knowledge and expertise in order to follow and film one of these elusive cats, both day and night. Shot entirely in 35mm, this represents a great accomplishment in natural history filmmaking -- the jungle master in his world, the jaguar, revealed!
